The Sudanese American Research Center and Development (SARC) is proud to share that our co-founder, Dr. Muawia Elbukhari, actively participated in a significant fundraising event held in November, organized by the Muslim American Society (MAS) in collaboration with several prominent Muslim charitable organizations.
This impactful event successfully brought together a diverse network of leaders and supporters, raising more than $250,000 to provide relief for the displaced and those in need in Sudan. Dr. Elbukhari, representing SARC, engaged with influential Muslim figures and advocates who showed their unwavering support for Sudan during this critical time.
Reflecting on the event, Dr. Elbukhari stated:
“It was an honor to join such a dedicated community working towards the shared goal of alleviating suffering in Sudan. This effort highlights the strength of solidarity and our collective commitment to meaningful change.”
The funds raised will directly support humanitarian efforts aimed at addressing the urgent needs of displaced communities and fostering long-term development in Sudan. SARC extends its gratitude to MAS and all participating organizations for their tireless efforts in organizing this impactful gathering.
This event serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared values that unite us in service of humanity.
Stay connected with SARC for updates on our ongoing initiatives and ways to support.
