Our Mission : The mission of the Center is to provide leadership and promote collaboration on global education initiatives, shaping and implementing the agenda for global education on our campus. Our key priorities include:

 

a) Collaborating with educators to create synergies and complementarities that foster global education and internationalize the curriculum.

b) Advocating for and supporting programs of study and academic experiences that prepare students to be globally competent.

c) Identifying and supporting educators in seeking opportunities to acquire relevant international teaching and research experiences.

d) Serving international students, visiting scholars, and the local community.

e) Engaging with student organizations, academic departments, and other units to promote cross-cultural understanding and global awareness.

 

Our Objective : The goal of the Center is to develop knowledge-based understanding of global issues and relevant skills to cultivate attitudes for responsible global citizenship at individual and collective levels. We believe that global education is a holistic perspective that helps students comprehend the complexities of today's world and develop values, attitudes, knowledge, and skills to address the challenges of globalization. By promoting cultural understanding and emphasizing the role of individuals in creating a just and equal world, we encourage learners to develop visionary attitudes that lead to critical thinking and conflict resolution at various levels.
